Hope and Homes for Children’s mission is to give hope to the poorest children in the world – those who are orphaned, abandoned or vulnerable – by enabling them to grow up within the love of a family and the security of a home, so they can fulfil their potential.

Hope and Homes for Children has been working in partnership with the St. James's Place Foundation since 1999. The St. James’s Place Foundation’s support has played a fundamental part in enabling us to reach our current stage of development by helping us to demonstrate to governments that children progress best in family settings, where they receive individual attention and a sense of personal worth that all children deserve. Hope and Homes for Children is deeply grateful for the ongoing support and looks forward to making this year's triathlon a great success.
Transforming children’s lives
Home for over one million children in Central and Eastern Europe is a bleak state-run institution, where facilities rarely even meet their most basic needs. For more than a decade we have been advocating and implementing the closure of these institutions, providing children with a safe and loving family environment in which to grow up and working to prevent child abandonment.
In Africa, poverty, HIV/AIDS and the legacy of war have decimated entire communities, leaving many children growing up alone. These children face a desolate future without any adult support and guidance. Hope and Homes for Children has developed an innovative model of support that works in partnership with local communities to help prevent family breakdown and enable self-sufficiency.
This year, all the money raised from the triathlon will be spent on our programmes across Central and Eastern Europe and Africa, where we are helping children like Thembasila & Raul, Oggi and young mothers like Inna.
